Vote to APPROVE Proposition 1 on your November 2 ballot!

Schools are the heart of our community. Children are our most precious asset and promise for the future.

It’s time to renew our commitment to funding educational programs so all Highline students have equitable opportunities to succeed in school.

We ask for your vote to approve an expiring education levy providing local funds to fill critical gaps in state and federal funding for our students’ needs.

This is not a new tax!

Your “Yes” vote will result in a decrease of the tax rate. The proposed levy reduces the current tax rate from $2.03 per $1,000 assessed value to $1.98. The tax rate will further decrease to $1.88 per $1,000 by 2026.

This levy renewal is crucial for our students’ academic success. Highline students depend on the Highline Education Levy to provide not only the classes they need for future success, but also basic health and academic services. Renewing the Education Levy shows a commitment to our community’s kids.

Vote “Yes” on Prop. 1 – Renew the Highline Education Levy!
